Meet The Coach

Coach Ashton Bell is in her second year as the Head Softball Coach at New Home High School, bringing over a decade of playing and coaching experience to the program. Under her leadership, the team made history by earning its first-ever playoff appearance in 2025.
A proud alum of Lubbock Christian University, Coach Bell was a four-year starter and earned All-American honors during her playing career. After graduating, she spent five years on the coaching staff at LCU, helping guide and mentor collegiate athletes both on and off the field. Prior to that, she served as an assistant coach at Frenship High School for three years, where she developed a strong foundation in coaching and leadership.
Coach Bell believes in creating a team culture built on hard work, discipline, and unity. Her coaching style emphasizes player development, accountability, and competing with heart — both in the game and in life.
Outside of coaching, family comes first. Coach Bell is a proud parent to two amazing kids, Harper and Denver. When not on the field, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and being part of the New Home community.
