Counseling

Counseling at NHISD

New Home ISD’s school counselors support the whole child – academics, social-emotional well-being, and college/career readiness – through individual and small-group learning, classroom guidance lessons, and collaboration with families and staff. Counselors also connect students to community resources, support MTSS/504 processes – as well as campus testing, and respond to urgent needs so learning can continue.

Hello Leopard Nation! I am Stacey Kaldenberg, and I have the privilege of being the Elementary School Counselor. At New Home Elementary, our goal is to create an environment where every student feels loved, supported, and inspired to learn. Getting to know all of our students is the best part of my job. I love teaching our students about coping skills and how to manage the world around them.

I have a fantastic husband, Garrett, and two wonderful children, Corley and Reagan. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or needs. I would be happy to visit with you.
