New Home Independent School District

New Home ISD is committed to providing high-quality, individualized services for students with disabilities ages 3–21, in accordance with IDEA. We offer a continuum of supports in the least restrictive environment—prioritizing inclusion, access to rigorous instruction, and meaningful progress.

NHISD provides: 

• Comprehensive evaluation and eligibility determination (Child Find).

• Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) with goals aligned to grade-level standards.

• Instructional supports and accommodations, assistive technology, and behavior supports.

• Related services as needed (e.g., speech-language, occupational/physical therapy, counseling).

• Transition planning to prepare students for life after high school.
