Welcome to New Home Secondary School!
We are delighted to extend a heartfelt welcome to all visitors as you explore our virtual home. Here at NHSS, we take great pride in offering a dynamic educational experience that blends big school opportunities with the warmth of a close-knit community.
Our mission at NHSS is to show love through our actions and create a positive impact on our students today, providing leadership opportunities for tomorrow, and promote productive citizens forever. We believe in the power of positivity and support, ensuring that each individual feels valued and empowered to reach their full potential. We aim to open doors to endless possibilities for our students.
At the heart of our educational philosophy lies a commitment to excellence. We are dedicated to providing every student with a high-quality, rigorous education that prepares them for success in whatever path they choose, whether it be the workforce, college, or the military. It's not just about academics at NHSS. We encourage our students to explore a wide range of interests and passions. From sports, FFA, theater, clubs, or community service, there’s truly something for everyone here.
I am honored to lead the NHSS community as your principal. With a background in K-12 Science and Curriculum and Instruction, I bring a diverse set of skills and perspectives to this role. As a mother, I am deeply invested in the success and well-being of every student who walks through our doors wanting the same opportunities and successes that my child has experienced.
So once again, welcome to the New Home Secondary School family. If you're a current student, a prospective parent, or simply curious about what makes NHSS a school of choice, we invite you to explore all that we have to offer.
Go Leopards!

Principal, New Home Secondary School
NHSS Assistant Principal
This is my 18th year in education, with most of my experience as a social studies and math teacher. I’m proud to be in my 11th year at New Home and my 6th year serving as an administrator. Throughout my career, I’ve been committed to helping students grow academically and personally, encouraging them to work hard, think critically, and develop a love of learning that extends beyond the classroom.
My wife Lisa and I have 3 kids; Asher (11), Kleat (8), and Andi Lane (3).
