IMPORTANT NOTICE: ELEMENTARY DISMISSAL TRAFFIC AND BUS ACCESS

Dear New Home Elementary Parents,

Please be aware of a temporary traffic adjustment for elementary dismissal due to the high school pep rally.

Our elementary buses will be transporting students to the pep rally and are expected to return at approximately 3:20–3:30 p.m. To allow the buses to return safely and access their designated parking area, the elementary bus lane will remain closed to parent pickup traffic until all buses have returned and are parked.

Please review and follow the procedures below.

1. BUS LANE CLOSURE

The bus lane where parents typically park side by side to pick up their children will remain closed until the buses return from the pep rally and are parked in their designated area. Parents may not enter or park in the bus lane before it has been reopened.

2. PARENT PICK UP LINES ON LEOPARD LANE

Parents may continue lining up in the usual two designated parent pickup lines on Leopard Lane, following the direction indicated by the arrows on the attached traffic map.

3. KEEP THE SOUTHBOUND THROUGH-TRAFFIC LANE CLEAR

Parents must remain within the designated pickup lines and keep the separate southbound through-traffic lane completely clear. Do not allow your vehicle or the pickup line to extend into or block this lane.

Keeping this lane open is essential to maintaining traffic flow and allowing our traffic running safely. Please refer to the attached map for the designated pickup lanes and the through-traffic lane that must remain open.

4. REOPENING THE BUS LANE

Once all buses have returned from the pep rally and are parked in their designated area, the bus lane will be reopened for parents to park and pick up their children during dismissal.

Your cooperation is essential to ensuring a safe and orderly dismissal for our students, staff, and families. Please follow the traffic directions and do not block any designated travel lanes.
