School Meal Price Update

New Home ISD wants to let families know that the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) just released price increases that will impact the cost of student lunches for the 2026 - 2027 school year. Student lunches will increase from $3.50 to $3.75. We are pleased to continue offering free breakfast to all students through New Home ISD's participation in the free breakfast program.

Families interested in applying for free or reduced-price meals can find applications and instructions on the NHISD website. Families can also access My School Bucks through the district website to check meal account balances, add funds, and set up account notifications.
