As New Home ISD evaluates the current exam exemption practices, we are seeking interested individuals to serve on an Exam Exemption Committee. This committee will review the current exam exemption practices, and create a draft exam exemption practice to be presented to the Board of Trustees during the August 2026 regular board meeting. This committee will consist of staff, parents, students, and administrators. Meetings will be held during the day and will last approximately one hour. The committee will meet a minimum of three times on the following dates: 

• June 17, 2026 @ 10:00 AM
• June 24, 2026 @ 10:00 AM
• July 15, 2026 @ 10:00 AM
