As New Home Secondary School prepares for the upcoming school year, we are also updating our instructional plans.

2026 – 2027 Instructional Plans will be posted soon.

New Home Secondary has the potential to do some really incredible things this year.  We will be making sure students are aligned with events that they show the aptitude and interest for.  We will also be making a concentrated effort to have students well prepared for whatever they are competing in.  We want to expand participation within our UIL program and we want to challenge students to embrace new and harder tasks.  Our ultimate goal is to win District and to increase the number of students advancing to Regional and State.  In meeting these goals, we will also be helping with the chase for the UIL Lone Star Cup.                                         

The Middle School District Meet will be held on Thursday, Dec. 3rd in New Deal and the High School District Meet will be held on Wednesday, March 31 in Floydada.  There will also be two invitational meets for high school students this year.  Jan. 30th the students will have an opportunity to compete in O’Donnell with UIL Invitational A materials and on Feb. 27th they will have the opportunity to compete in Borden County with the Invitational B materials.  In addition we will also be participating in some virtual meets.  New Home has talented kids who can shine  and we are looking forward to good things ahead.
